Entry Level Field Cabling Technician

Job Description

We currently have a position open for an IT Field Service Technician in the Raleigh NC area. Candidates should be self-starters with good computer hardware, network and customer service skills.


Requirements are preferred and not limited to:



  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware A+ preferred but not required

  • Basic network experience

  • Structured cabling experience is a plus

  • POS installation and troubleshooting experience

  • Manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment

  • Work unsupervised

  • Strong communication with management including written updates on progress


This position requires flexible work hours with extensive travel which range from 3 days up to 2 weeks. 
We are looking for motivated, self-starters who can work with little supervision. Preferred technical background includes: structured cabling, Cisco networking and POS experience.
Qualified candidates must have a clean driving record, flexible schedule and be willing to travel out of the area.
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
