Maintenance Technician Lead - Electrical

Overview
Mechanically proficient technician providing focused, competent maintenance support while demonstrating technical expertise in a specific, specialized mechanical maintenance function
Responsibilities
Demonstrate technical engineering expertise/knowledge and utilize effective root cause analysis methods
Understand, troubleshoot and problem solves issue of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)
Understand AC and DC motors and drives
Use electrical test equipment to measure current voltage
Understand trouble shooting process for electrical equipment and electrical systems
Understand operation of mechanical seals, causes of seal failure and the process of mechanical seal installation; RCCA activities required
Understand advanced and complex functions of production CNC machining equipment
Reengineer equipment for more efficiency and reliability
Advanced understand of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the operation of all components
Able to lead and facilitate RCCA and equipment reliability sessions
Performs administrative duties including preparing and maintaining records and writing reports in the area of maintenance and work orders.
Maintains a close working relationship with all supervisors concerning maintenance of all plant equipment and building repair.
Qualifications
Education: High school graduate/GED supplemented by technical school or formal apprenticeship in electrical and mechanical maintenance theory and application.
Experience: Minimum of four years of maintenance experience; at least two years of which must have been in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require. Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation required. Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and basic carpentry and tooling. Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations pertaining to equipment.
Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals. Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and
regulations.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
